3. How long do they usually stay cool?
In general,6-8 hours. It also depend on the ambient temperature change.
4. Any preparatory steps needed before cooling will begin? Is these items cooled by refrigeration in a freezer?
No need. Just leave it in Cool and Shadow place before use!
Of course,If want to speed up the heat release process,or extra cooling is needed,the cool mat can be placed into refrigerator before use!

6. How to clean?
The surface is waterproof, dry with the towel after contact water.

& Do not use hard brush to clean the surface. In case of dirty, use towel to clean.
& The cool mat crystallized automatically under 27°C.In hot areas, soak the product in cold water or lay in the fridge ,next to the air-conditioner or other cool places to make the product crystallize. The surface is waterproof, dry with the towel after contact water.
